Experience our unique dance program!
Through a variety of classes geared to meet the needs of all ages from 4 years old to adult, this program teaches the basic skills of dance and challenges the dancers to work together to create rhythms and learn set dances unique to Irish Dance. A form of dance that requires working together as a group, our classes offer an education beyond learning to move to the music. Heather Gallagher, owner and Artistic Director of the Asheville Performing Arts Academy, grew up taking Irish Dance classes at a local place in her hometown of Euclid, Ohio. When she came to Asheville, she wanted to offer this extraordinary opportunity to the Asheville community and help children succeed and learn important life lessons that she learned from her experience in Irish Dance.
