Elementary Academy
Please contact the Asheville Performing Arts Academy to set up an audition time.
Students are involved in classes 3 days per week, as well as participate in two shows and attend the National Junior Theatre Festival.
Our beginning Academy students are introduced to the theories behind acting technique in a creative story-telling atmosphere. Later on, students will be able to apply this knowledge to more advanced terminology and technique. Dance classes focus on disciplining the body, and freeing it to speak through movement. Voice classes explore the voice, and students will begin learning proper vocal technique.
