Kurt Campbell

Kurt Campbell graduated from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH with a BA in Music Performance and a minor in Computer Science in 2006. Shortly after, he and his wife Meredith moved to Asheville and he began working at the Asheville Arts Center. Kurt teaches piano lessons and is a musical director for the Arts Center's Children's Theatre Production Workshop. Kurt is also a Teacher's Assistant at Claxton Elementary.
Soon to be seen at Parkway Playhouse in their professional production of GUYS AND DOLLS in the role of Nathan Detroit! Kurt will also serve as musical director in Parkway's professional production of ANNIE!
Teaching Philosophy
I understand that every day life influences a student's learning process. While I personalize each student's individual lesson plan, I recognize that each student can benefit from my training and knowledge. If I can ignite a spark that begins a lifetime love of music, then I've done my job.
